We experience what we want to...

It was what we chose to experience.

During the morning exercise routine of cycling and walking at Racecourse, one can experience multifarious experiences...

first glimpse ...two young poorly dressed playful children with forehead covered with faith smeared 'tilak' ... lead by their mom with 'dhol' and 'chamat' to halt at an appropriate place where her children could do some acrobatic tricks and earn some money in the tune of the 'dhol' being played by her from the health conscious passerby's ...though with almost pauperly existence , faith led them to do what they thought they were good at irrespective of the results ( here in this case some gainful money for their daily existence)

boosting each others performance .... some lead the pack through their own conviction .. rest take inspiration and keep following the leaders and not give up ...

A cyclist older then me overtakes me while I am observing... and then soon immediately a young chap overtakes the one who just overtook me...
Competition it was? or the will to test ones own limits...

Father - young son duo , while I take walk in the park are practicing run and exercising ... challenging the son ...
Father son bond it was.. or father as a hero / teacher to befriend his son and then make challenge his limits...

Through out this walk and cycle experience daily .. we try and bond with people of what experience we want to have... all were having fun in their own experience .....
...such is life..some like me cherish in observations too....

Did I lose a diamond?

Walking along the beach in the dusk, I saw something sparkle for a moment .. excited to see it and find whether it was a treasure, I walk to it, pick it up..but that glint vanished, I rotate and move it to see on what was in it that glinted, on no discovery I put it back on the shore .. waves lap and move it side ways .. one last look behind and I felt that sparkle again, was it that I failed to remove the sand or did I fail to remove the shades adorned on my eyes..but by that time I had moved on .. Did I lose a diamond ?....

Live life Kingsize..!!

The coming generation, son and daughter of some so called hi-fi business men and women , professionals etc , who live in the fast city life and fantasy of their own world, who go to do the shopping - from branded clothes to the day to day living items, like veggies and other groceries etc from the air conditioned shopping malls are going to miss the shopping from the local markets and street shops for sure.

One such experience is shopping veggies from the vegetable market. The hooting and cacophony of noises coming from all the sides to sell their stock, with all sorts of amusing sounds that they make to attract the customers to their stall..its really an enterprising edifice and an enthusing experience to watch those sellers shout at the top of their voices in an effort to attract their potential customers.

Yesterday was one such day, when I accompanied my mom to sabji maandi.. while my mom was shopping the veggies , I was busy observing, talking to a few of them and enjoying the vigour with which the sellers sold. Marketing personnel should be sent on such on- the floor training .. what say ? :) they will learn ample techniques..

What more is the way they live .. happy go lucky , always living by the day in the present, not too worried of their future, always trying to put their best into their selling, nice with their neighbor vendor even if the neighbor stole their customer . At the end of the day , even if they have to sell their stock at a loss , they are ready to part with their money, unlike most of us .. and at night go to sleep calmly with no tensions of this world like- how to be no.1, what to do next , where to invest, how to save money, how to catch hold of some free money.. To me though they would be living in small houses or on the streets yet they are living Life King size…!! Lesson to learn .. what say ?
