because it is by the "wall", when you get tired, you can use the corner of the seat and window to rest and it is more comfy that way :)
I agree, it's because you can lean on the window to sleep :-) Still frustrating for those who want to look outside the window!
May be you might take a chance to open the window and look out side...:):):). The person can not take such risk in aeroplane... :D
:)Btw, I don't like window seat that much, I prefer the aisle.
