happy new year..

Ending of yet another year …

Of the year gone by.. in a fast lane..
As swift as the blinking of an eye….

People are normally judged by the achievements.. however blown up.. true or false..
Don’t know if small events or things matter over the events or things loaded by achievements .. But if at the end the former happens to give happiness…. yes it does matter….

playground

There’s a pitch in which everyone plays..
And we define our pitches…
The thought processes being centered around that…
Its often easier to understand a little about the ones who have the expressive powers either in terms of writing or art etc...
But for rest it’s always the experience or encounter which teaches about them..

Relativity Relativity...

Much Ado about nothing or everything or is it less ado about nothing or everything…..?!

To prove someone or something good, other someone or something has to be proved bad,
While someone somewhere was making profits, someone elsewhere was making losses,
While someone somewhere was celebrating birth, someone elsewhere was mourning a death,
life’s relativity...so simple yet so intricate .. while we rejoice being proved good over bad or gaining profit over someone’s loss or over birth … who cares for the bad or the loser or the dead..
and would we have been happier had we thought about the other side of the story alongside our happiness…

The Onlooker – Part II

So continuing from where I left..

Little further, chose to drink tea at a tea stall
My scanner was on while I sip the tea ,offered in a plastic glass…
And down I saw a mosaic of thrown used plastic glasses..
Few lying, while few flying in circles in the whirl wind..
Seems there is lack of dustbins around..

Me being just an onlooker …

And while just observing, there was another ‘civilized’ fellow, traveling in a car,
Chewed the gutkha and threw the litter on the road..
May be it was the typical ‘Indian thinking’ to keep our house, our car, our hands clean, but for roads or another public property, whose property is it ..who cares…
and then we comment our country is filthy..
Where is our civic sense…!
The same fellow might religiously follow all the rules and regulations of not littering public places in another countries.. but here who cares….!!!

And more then the lack of dustbins it was the lack of civic sense I suppose… !!

Me being just an onlooker…

Yet another fellow.. in his plush car .. was in such a hurry , that he almost pushed a fellow riding on cycle at the edge of the road ..no control on honking .. no patience to wait for people to give way …!!
Is it with money we loose our civic and moral senses…. !!

Me being just an onlooker…

So what runs in the background is could we deliver ourselves as the moral civilians…!!
Are there ways to work on it…
Thoughts , many would have , but could we work up to deliver by being change agents.. and continue doing so… wherever , whenever .. in whatever way we can…..!!!
What is required, is being something more then an Onlooker…!

And By the way, this wasn’t a long walk..
Just a long description of observations in a short walk ….
Me being just an onlooker…working to be something more than it ….!!!

The Onlooker - Part I

Could we be the change agents…
Is running at the back of my mind..
In the foreplay….
This is what, runs..

While walking on the streets of a city..
Behind the plush towering offices,
There is a colony of mud huts,
I see a small black and white TV running through the open door,
and in the foyer a small stove running on the wooden sticks…
While in the front, were the plush offices, furnished with brewing machines to serve the tea needs..
and just behind, a household running on wooden sticks to serve the basic needs..!!

Was just wondering, would the people living in the mud huts ever have dreams to reach those plush offices… !!!!

Me being just an onlooker…..

Little ahead were 3 women collecting branches of a tree, probably used as fuel at their home, One of them was a little girl,
And barely few steps away from them, was another girl almost the same age as the former, playing with her cell phone..!!

But did either of them get affected by each others lifestyles!!

Me being just an onlooker…

Further down the road was a foot path stall,
the owner, I suppose was a father of little kids,
sitting on the footpath,
he probably, from what I could perceive, was teaching his kids to read from the newspaper…!!.

Me being just an onlooker…

Could we be the change agents, is what runs in the background………
May be here, more than our role it is the individuals role which may be more important, where they can be their own change agents……but encouragement and backend support could be ours..
