My Best friend at Mumbai and me...

In a city that's dwelled by millions,
where one gets lost in the crowd,
crowd of friends or aliens.
Walking with noise within and outside so loud
I go to its refuge and seek peace,
I blabber and speak till my mind's ease
with no record of hours, hours slip by in its company..
I ask questions in the waves of mind,
answered or not answered by it,
Yet I seek its company..

That touch of wind and its lapping waves going back and forth..
hitting the rocks, breaking the silence
those bubbly bubbles and the froth ...
medidation previals in its silence..

who cares for those lovers behind,
who cares for blarring sound of the traffic behind, who cares
till you get to see your friend - the ocean,
so vast with brim full of water and the peppiness of the waves and the wind,
inspiration it is for me
that sea...
Marine lines, sea and me..

I love this place, I love my friend..
to whose refuge I always depend..
Thats the story of my best friend at Mumbai and me

Hi,
As we bid adieu to this year 2008,
lets make things, for our own selves clear and straight,
there would have been moments of learning, sharing, caring, joy, love or hatered
lets learn for ourselves from ourselves and grow
grow to greater heights, where even eagles may not dare to soar..
lets reach for our dreams,
or stretch our minds to reach our dreams..
and try to reach the path..
because no one will be answerable but our own selves..
lets try and soar further in 2009..

Lets pledge this Diwali to try and reduce all sorts of pollution ( external and internal ) that we keep doing in the name of God..

Lets not burst crackers which make horrendous sounds,
Lets not pollute the already polluted air,
Lets say together to the earth that we care...

Let this festival bring colour in our life and joy like rangoli ,
Lets bring brightness in life like the bright diyas..


The sound of crackers would get lost in the whims of air
and so would the smiles bursting them ..
instead lets spent on spreading joy by trying to bring the smile on others face ..
as the good wishes of those in need would outlast all race..

Lets pledge not to pollute externally and internally the Nature we have got..
Together lets say to the earth that we care...
